two.1.4) Short description

Rhondda Cynon Taf aims for desirable places to live, work and visit and a fully integrated and high quality public transport system is central to the effective functioning of these areas. The aim of this Project is to achieve this in a sustainable way and improve the overall quality of the street scene by upgrading and enhancing bus stops within communities providing new, high quality waiting facilities for passengers.

The supplier is required to manufacturer/supply, deliver, install and repair bus shelters throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf.

For indicative purposes, it is anticipated that approximately 25-35 shelters will be required per annum. The number of shelters or spend is not guaranteed and may vary according to the Council priorities and availability of funding.

Tenderers will be required to assemble and install shelters at sites advised by client throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf.
