two.1.4) Short description

We are due to renew our contract for the repair and maintenance of our hard-wired warden call / telecare equipment. We cover TS, DL and YO postcodes. There is a framework available with mini competition, however we are interested to understand if there are other vendors in the market that would be interested in bidding on our opportunity should we opt to tender independently of a framework provider. Repairs and maintenance would be in and out of hours and could be anywhere within our geographically remit. We are looking to contract for a minimum of 3 years. We are looking to appoint one contractor to cover all areas but we would consider splitting into a 'north' and 'south' contract if there was enough interest and /or no vendor demand to cover all postcodes. There would be clear response times that would form part of contract performance.Commercially we would look for a preferred model of fixed pricing. The estimated total value included in this notice is based on 3years

two.1.5) Estimated total value

Value excluding VAT: £150,000

two.1.6) Information about lots

This contract is divided into lots: Yes

The contracting authority reserves the right to award contracts combining the following lots or groups of lots:

If we advertise with lots splitting into North and South we would reserve the right to give priority to a vendor that can cover all geographically areas rather than just north or south.
