A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:
The Contractor is to design and deliver targeted recruitment and training / community benefits initiatives to be delivered throughout the duration of the Works.
In pursuit of improving the economic, social or environmental wellbeing of the Association’s area, the primary objectives of the initiative are to:
a) Engage with education establishments to provide construction related training / learning outcomes to pupils.
b) Support people in accessing employment opportunities within the project: to include school leavers, long term unemployed and general workforce.
c) Promote opportunities for businesses in securing sub-contract / supply packages within the project.
