The provision for the assembly and maintenance of the market stalls for its weekly Charter Market held in Bromley Town Centre. The stalls are required to be set up every Thursday morning and taken down every Saturday evening. The Tender is being advertised in two lots: -

The value stated at II.1.5 is the indicative value for the initial term and the 2 year extension.

There is currently a maximum of 46 market stall positions on the Bromley Town Centre centre site. The Bromley Charter Market is held every week and the provider is required to assemble the market stalls every Thursday morning and take them down every Saturday evening. The exact number of stalls to be assembled will be notified to the provider every Wednesday as the number of stalls required each week will vary depending on the number of traders who have booked a stall.

There are currently 46 market stall positions available on the Bromley Town Centre site. The successful provider will need to undertake regular cleaning of the stalls footing fixtures, keep the Market Stores in good order and liaise with the Market Supervisor and undertake any ad-hoc tasks requested by the Supervisor to support the operational running of the market.

evaluation of the tender will be conducted in full compliance with EU Directives and the Council's Contract Procedure Rules.

Evaluation of the criteria for quality issues, etc. will also include the operation of minimum score thresholds. If a proposal received a score below the require threshold then the bid may not be considered further. The minimum acceptable score is a requirement to obtain at least half of the available points in any particular area. An indicative use of this model can be downloaded from the Council's website.

The Council may make use of the contract for further negotiated arrangements to the extent permissible and in compliance with the relevant procurement regulations.
