Conwy County Borough Council is procuring a service to recycle and treat street sweepings and gully waste collected by mechanical sweepers and gully tankers within the Conwy County area. The overall recycling and treatment requirement is anticipated to be around 3765 tonnes of street sweepings and gully waste per annum. No guaranteed minimum tonnage will apply.

Conwy County Borough Council (the “Council”) is procuring a service to recycle and treat street sweepings and gully waste collected by mechanical sweepers and gully tankers within the Conwy County area.

The overall recycling and treatment requirement is anticipated to be around 3765 tonnes of street sweepings and gully waste per annum. No guaranteed minimum tonnage will apply.

The Council proposes to enter into contract for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months

Quality criterion - Name: Please provide information relating to your organisation’s experience of providing services for the treatment and recovery of Street Sweepings and Gully Waste / Weighting: 5%

Quality criterion - Name: Please provide information regarding contingency arrangements to ensure Street Sweepings and Gully Waste is treated in the event of the nominated treatment facility being unavailable / Weighting: 5%

Quality criterion - Name: Please provide information on the preferred treatment process/s undertaken. Please include examples of the monthly breakdown of waste transfer and the waste composition report / Weighting: 10%

Quality criterion - Name: Please provide copies of the Environmental Permit/s, Waste exemptions and consents for all designated treatment and disposal facilities as detailed in the tender submission / Weighting: Pass/Fail

Quality criterion - Name: Please provide evidence of all persons providing Technically Competent Management at all designated treatment and disposal facilities as detailed in the tender submission / Weighting: Pass/Fail
