Description
Hampshire County Council has a 5-year Adults' Health and Care Strategy (2023) that sets out to explore and facilitate accommodation models that support people to live as independently as possible within their local communities.
Hampshire County Council has a project where it would like to explore the options available with existing private retirement housing schemes and the Social Housing sector, which could include homes that are owned by either a Registered Provider or stock holding local authority in Hampshire. Options may include agreeing nominations, leasing or purchasing properties to accelerate the provision of Extra Care homes for older adults in Hampshire.
This market engagement activity is to seek the views of organisations in the private retirement market and social housing sector, to understand the interest in this project to develop a potential future offer.
