A specialist Trauma focused Therapeutic Intervention service for victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse to ensure delivery against outcome 4 of the ‘Devon Strategy for delivering domestic abuse support in safe accommodation’. Therapies and counselling provided by the service will need to be supported by a strong evidence base of effectiveness specific to this particular group and will include but not be exclusively limited to, EMDR and compassion focused therapy.
Service users will be provided with up to 16 therapy sessions primarily delivered in a 1:1 setting by trained and qualified therapists, supported by therapeutic/counselling group sessions. Sessions must be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of Service Users and may include in person and digital delivery.

Pre-Tender Launch Event
Devon County Council will be hosting a virtual pre-tender launch market engagement meeting via Teams to discuss the upcoming tender for Trauma focused therapeutic psychological intervention service for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. This will include an outline of services, a tender and contract timeline and discussion with the market.
