The Contracting Authority intends to conduct a Competitive Dialogue procurement in accordance with Reg. 30 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (as amended) for the procurement of a development partner in connection with the Contracting Authority’s plans for regeneration of the North Quay area of Great Yarmouth. The Contracting Authority envisages a mixed use re-development comprising residential, commercial, leisure and public-realm development. Further detail will be included in the descriptive document to be published with the Contract Notice in due course.Further information is contained at the ‘Additional Information’ section below.

At the Developer Awareness Event the Contracting Authority will share its development objectives, explain the work it is currently doing in preparation for delivery of the scheme and what it is seeking from a potential development partner.Presentations will be given by senior Council officers and members in relation to this important riverside gateway development opportunity in the heart of Great Yarmouth, allocated for wholesale regeneration in the adopted Local Plan. Having succeeded in securing £20 million Levelling Up Funding, there is significant momentum building to deliver this North Quay development opportunity site, which is located close to the Rail Station and historic Market Place – the latter currently undergoing significant transformation with a new Covered Market, public realm and a new Learning Hub/University Campus.
