1.1 The PT-SMHP National Curriculum Delivery Evaluation is a detailed national examination of Health Education England commissioned PT-SMHP training to evaluate the current training provision available nationally for workforce delivering services across the identified mental health areas from the following perspectives:

• Training provider

• Trainee

• Sponsoring Manager

• HEE Regional Lead

1.2 The tender is for one year with the option of extend.

1.3 The evaluation will be carried out by an appreciative inquiry methodology identifying issues associated with training delivery through a quantitative and qualitative analysis.

1.4 Delivery of an evaluation end report with considerations indicating next steps and implementation risks.

1.5 The overarching aim of this work is to support workforce development to support the delivery of the LTP Policy ambitions.

1.6 This work is to be conducted with a mixed methodology approach including (but not limited to) active field studies with the service areas mentioned, desktop research, academic enquiry, and quantitative data collection.

1.7 The data collection of available learning must include (but is not limited to) please see APPENDIX 2 within the PT-SMHP Training Delivery Evaluation Specification document.

1.8 Delivery will be expected to take no longer than 3 months to complete with the final report to be presented April 2022.
