SYMCA’s Department of Facilities and Asset Management seeks to appoint a contractor partner who will undertake total facilities and tenant management within the Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre (AMPTC).
Opened in 2006, The Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre is at the heart of the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP), Rotherham recognised as one of the leading and most innovative engineering, research and manufacturing communities.
With grow-on space available and confirmed investment in some of the UK’s leading engineering and technology driven projects in aeronautical engineering and nuclear energy, the Advanced Manufacturing Park is an important concentration of talent, know-how and expertise recognised by the UK Government and by major corporations around the world.
Strategically located on the border of Sheffield and Rotherham, the AMP is minutes from junction 33 of the M1 and the A630 Sheffield Parkway.
The AMP Technology Centre provides a combination of first-class office space, workshop facilities and conferencing & meeting room resources, over 3 buildings, which attract both local and national interest due to their central location, state of the art facilities and proximity to so many ground-breaking organisations.
The AMP Technology Centre is more than just a building of facilities though – it’s a place where dynamic innovators meet likeminded individuals over coffee. It’s a place where introductions are made, and collaborations are formed. It’s a place where those who want to push the boundaries of business and technology bring their products to show and share.
