Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) and Swale Borough Council are looking to appoint a managed service supplier of temporary agency resources.

Mid Kent Services operates a shared service for its Human Resources function serving both Maidstone and Swale Borough Council. A key part of this service is the provision of temporary agency resources.

In 2017 Maidstone and Swale Borough Council entered into an agreement for a Managed Service Vendor Neutral Supply Chain Management framework.

Both Maidstone and Swale Borough Council wish to appoint a Supplier who shall offer throughout the contact period:-

 A complete supply chain management solution

 Quality candidates for our temporary roles

 Timely fulfilment of temporary roles

 Best Value for money

 Comprehensive management information

 High levels of communication and customer satisfaction

 Consolidated invoicing weekly/ monthly as required

 Expert advice on any legislative requirements related to Agency Workers

The objectives of the procurement are:

 To deliver the highest quality Services which offer best value for money

 To deliver, in the event that the procurement exercise requires the transition to a new Managed Service Provider, a smooth and seamless transition

 To reduce, year on year, the level of off-contract spend which will require the pro-active support of the Supplier
