Since the end of the initial period the contract has been annually extended to 29/9/19. A modification request was granted in 2019 for a further two year extension taking the contract to 29/09/21. This resulted in the contract value increasing from £610,000 to £662,400.
Work on a procurement exercise was due to commence during the duration of the first modification, however this was delayed due to the Covid- 19 pandemic and a shortage of resources within the department.
