Transport UK East Anglia Limited are looking to engage with the market for feedback on a proposed construction framework.

The proposed framework is envisaged to consist of 4 lots covering building and construction works both Principal Contractor (PC) and non-PC work, mechanical and electrical works and station painting.

A virtual market engagement event will be held at 2pm on the 20th August via MS Teams which will outline the proposed route to market and lot structure.

We politely request no more than two attendees per supplier.

Following the event, a questionnaire will be issued to gather further feedback.

Greater Anglia will be utilising the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) to undertake supplier selection.

During Market engagement, Greater Anglia intends to share the proposed Railway Industry Commodity Classification List (RICCL) codes it will be using.

Following market engagement, suppliers wishing to participate in the tender process must be qualified within RISQS for the previously shared RICCL codes and must have the capacity and capability to deliver against the criteria.

Greater Anglia reserves the right to not consider suppliers if they have not received their First Audit by the ITT submission date.

Suppliers must ensure that their RISQS membership does not lapse during the term of the procurement activity. The Company will remove Suppliers with invalid membership or subcategory codes.

Lot 1 consists of construction and works 'on or near the line' that would be required in depots and stations. GA operates approximately 133 stations including approximately 8 depot locations. Works to be undertaken could include canopy, platform and bridge refurbishments and creation and maintenance of walkways and lighting and construction of bespoke buildings within depots. The work is likely to include small elements of M&E however for larger M&E works there will be a separate lot.

Over the 133 station locations that GA operate there is a requirement for upgrading and maintaining various elements of M&E equipment such as station wiring, heating, cooling, lighting and power equipment. Transport UK East Anglia Limited is a subsidiary of Transport UK Group and is a Train Operating Company (TOC) that operates the East Anglia National Rail Contract in England, providing intercity, commuter and rural services throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and East London including the Stansted Express service.

Greater Anglia is responsible for approximately 3,000 employees and operates around 1,300 train services per day at 133 stations.
