Doncaster Borough Council (The Council) is to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for housing adaptation works that are currently funded through the Disables Facilities Grant (DFG). The funding received from the DFG is to pay for essential adaptation to a person’s current home to enable them to continue to live an independent life. The property could be owned by a housing association, St Leger Homes of Doncaster (SLH), private landlord or privately owned. The Council is seeking to appoint a range of Contractors able to provide adaptation works consisting of, but not limited to, the following including all associated works; • Bathroom Adaptations e.g. level access showers, wet rooms • Kitchen adaptations e.g. height adjustable worktops, remodelling • Access ramps and handrails • Revision work to property access, e.g. remodelling to steps and pathways • The widening of internal doorways • Ground floor extensions and building works • Sundry other works that may be required
