two.2.4) Description of the procurement
We are seeking suitable suppliers to supply new mobile handheld scanners, mobile printers and consumables (labels).
Scanners – to be able to be used remotely when not in areas with Bluetooth and/or WIFI. Be able to automatically upgrade database once connected to laptop or print to mobile printers included in this procurement (if applicable). Rechargeable. Not to networked and must be able to read printed PDF’s. RFID capability if available.
Printers – Mobile printers with the option to also wall mount if necessary. Ability to print RFID adhesive labels if available. – Connected via Bluetooth, Wifi and mobile network. – Not to be installed into a network. Plug and play options only.
Consumables – labels to be able to withstand extreme temperatures varying from -30℃ to 50℃, need to be extra strong adhesive, no fading to occur on labels as some labels will be put into storage for vast periods of time. Labels not to be 1 continuous length, they need to be 4 inches x 2 inches (NOT 2 Inches x 4 Inches).
We anticipate to run an open procurement process depending on the responses received from this PIN. Bidders maybe asked to participate in an engagement exercise.
