This Prior Information Notice (PIN) with Request For Information (RFI) relates to the Mental Welfare Commission(MWC) core IT system.
MWC are seeking to replace their core IT system that is used for service user records, correspondence logs, workflow and reporting. The Commission are looking for a highly configurable solution. The current system is extremely complex and contains forms, checks, alerts and workflows and is not a simple case management system.

The system we are looking to replace is the core system used in the Commission for service user records, correspondence logs, workflow and reporting that is now coming towards end-of-life. We are looking for a modern system to replace this, a digital or cloud-based solution may best suit our requirements but will also consider other options. The current system is extremely complex and contains many forms, checks, alerts, and workflows that enable us to monitor the use of mental health and incapacity legislation in Scotland and ensure that this is being applied appropriately and lawfully.
