two.1.4) Short description

Newcastle City Council (NCC) has a requirement for a Post 16 Learning Management Information System (MIS). NCC anticipates the Contract to be awarded by the end of November 2024 and Solution to be fully implemented with Go-Live by May 2025.

NCC is seeking Tender Responses from providers that have a commercially available, fully functional Solution able to provide a Post 16 learning sector management information system. The solution should be dynamic, intuitive, and fully compliant with ESFA data recording, reporting and management requirements. This Solution should administer, document, track, report and deliver precise data reports to enable Newcastle City Learning to provide accurate and credible ILR reports, Ofsted data and bespoke data reports from all Newcastle City Learning's provision.

The management of the Solution will have strong central governance to ensure consistency in use, which is required to provide robust management information. This will be used to inform statutory returns and submissions to the funding body: Education Skills Funding Agency. Data reports will also be supplied to Ofsted, Newcastle City Learning's Advisory Board and other bodies on request.
