two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This procurement is for the installation of the main spine road and green corridor including all necessary utilities such as water, power, telecoms and drainage systems. The work includes the excavation of a significant amount of rock for processing and use on the new spine road construction. It is envisaged the rock will be excavated by means of low level blasting to minimise the impact on surrounding buildings and provide excavated rock at a suitable size for processing.The blasting vibration limit is approximately 6 to 10mm/s peak particle velocity.
