Design and construction of railway systems (on network works) for the new mainline station at Old Oak Common which, will connect HS2 with other mainline & suburban services on the Great Western mainline, Crossrail, and Heathrow services.
For the mainline on network works, Network Rail proposes to utilise the supply chain to undertake the design & construction for the rail systems comprising of GRIP 5-8 track, S&C, OLE, E&P, Signalling & Telecoms and Civils together with any associated enabling works.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Network Rail proposes to invite the supply chain market to form an alliance (which would include Network Rail) to undertake the design & construction for the rail systems (on network works) comprising of GRIP 5-8 track, S&C, OLE, E&P, Signalling & Telecoms and Civils together with associated any enabling works.
Indicative timeline for completion of works December 2028 and forecast contract award December 2022.
Through a separate (call for competition) notice, Network Rail will commence a pre-qualification exercise with the objective to shortlist the three highest scoring candidates for the tender stage.
two.2.14) Additional information
The above mentioned works is entirely dependant on funding availability and consents, thus the anticipated value range may vary between £100million to £200million.
The works may not be instructed at all or at the same time and, any participation in onward procurement events by the candidate/s is undertaken at their own risk, with this knowledge known.
