Brent Council is seeking a single provider/organisation to deliver an Advocacy Service for Carers.

The contract will be awarded for up to three years, on an initial one year term with the possibility of two, one year extensions. The Service will provide a pathway for carers to access the support they need, and which is available to them.

Brent Council is seeking a single provider/organisation to deliver an Advocacy Service for Carers.

The contract will be awarded for up to three years, on an initial one year term with the possibility of two, one year extensions. The Service will provide a pathway for carers to access the support they need, and which is available to them.

Providers will need to be familiar with the principal legislation, and statutory requirements relating to the provision of:

• Independent Mental Health Act Advocacy (IMHA)

• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA)

• Relevant Person’s Paid Representative (RPPR)

• Rule 1.2 Representative (Community DoLS)

• Independent Care Advocacy under the Care Act 2014
