two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This is a restricted procurement procedure conducted in accordance with Regulation 28 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement is for a cleaning provider to work in partnership with the RAF Museum to provide a professional, flexible, self managed, transparent and proactive cleaning service across its estate. The scope includes routine cleaning, reactive cleaning, washroom services, event and conference cleaning, periodic cleaning, on-site waste co-ordination, consumables and other ancillary services. The contract term will be 3 years, plus 2 optional 12 month extensions. The properties include; hangars, galleries, circulation space, conference areas, event space, meeting rooms, education spaces, lecture rooms, retail outlets, catering outlets, stores, workshops and offices etc. The scope also includes external areas including; playgrounds, car parks, footpaths, picnic areas etc.
