Luton Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to enter into an agreement to provide regular servicing and preventative maintenance to existing stair lifts, through lifts, step lifts and hoist installations to properties and replacement where deemed necessary.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Luton Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to enter into an agreement to provide regular servicing and preventative maintenance to existing stair lifts, through lifts, step lifts and hoist installations to properties and replacement where deemed necessary.

Currently LBC have approximately 300 properties which have equipment installed from various manufacturers. We also service and maintain certain client’s equipment fitted under our DFG program and there are currently 25 private properties which fall under this scheme. This number may increase and/or decrease as equipment is installed / removed. An out of hours service must be provided which covers bank holidays, public holidays and weekends.
