two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The contract is for the creation and supply of Diplomatic Plates for use on vehicles owned by Foreign Diplomats whilst they are resident in UK, and the creation and supply of Trade Plates for the Motor Trade, Manufacturers

and Vehicles Testers throughout the UK.

DVLA also require a facility whereby the supplier destroys any damaged and/or surplus stock.

The supplier must be registered on the DVLA's Register of Number Plate Suppliers (RNPS) and suppliers will be required to supply sample plates as part of their response.

The commencement date of this contract will be 1 January 2022 and the duration is for a period of three years with the option to extend for a further two years which will be determined on a year by year basis, at the sole

discretion of the DVLA.
