The British Council is inviting ELT providers/suppliers to submit bids/applications to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). Providers/suppliers may include established ELT publishing companies and ED-Tec companies involved in English language teaching and related areas of business. DPS will be used to streamline future procurement goods and services, future procurements will include, but will not be limited to, the licensing and the purchase of educational materials. The future procurements will also enable the British Council to work with preferred suppliers to test, customise and pilot ELT learning materials for British Council learners across all age groups. In order to support the varying needs of our learners, content may be sourced from one or more sources (i.e. from one or more courses and a separate standalone e-learning product) and from one or more publishers.

British Council will be procuring products and services covering English Language Teaching (ELT) content and Ed-Tec products using this dynamic purchasing system (DPS).
Suppliers can apply to join at any time throughout the life of the contact notice up to 31 July 2024.
We anticipate the DPS will run initially for 3 years with further optional 5 annual extensions. The British Council reserves the right to reduce, extend or terminate with appropriate notification via FTS. Any economic operator (supplier) may apply to join the DPS at any point during its lifetime by submitting completed Standard Selection Questionnaires (SQ and DPSQ) via https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/dps/bc .
