two.1.4) Short description

The Authority is seeking to procure a provider in respect of the Southwark Works Employers Relationship Management services contract to support employers to create opportunities and employ residents who face challenges entering and progressing in the workplace. The provider will be responsible for delivering the following outcomes:

i. A joined up and comprehensive Employer Engagement and Relationship Management service delivered through Southwark Works

ii. Accessible vacancies for Southwark residents with barriers to employment

iii. Southwark Works clients receive skills, training and support that is relevant to the local labour market and growth sectors

iv. Improved employment practices by Southwark employers and employers are working towards recognised employer accreditations such as Living Wage, Mayor’s Good Work Standard, Time Wise, Disability Confident etc.

v. Increased Southwark employer’s understanding of the value of employing local residents

The contract will be for a period of 19 months to commence on 1st December 2023 which will include the option, at the Authority’s sole discretion, to extend up to a further two years. The services are described in detail in the specification. The initial 19 month contract value is estimated at £237,500. The total estimated contract value including the option to extend is £537,500
