GJNH require a framework to utilise for Theatre Nursing Staff teams when the Board is struggling to meet waiting time initiatives. The Framework will comprise of the following theatre staff:

- Anaesthetic Assistants

- Theatre Scrub Practitioner

- Theatre Assistant/HCSW

- Recovery

Theatre Teams include:

- Breast and Plastics

- Cardiac surgery

- Colorectal surgery

- Diagnostic Endoscopy

- ENT surgery

- General surgery

- Gynaecology

- Ophthalmology surgery

- Orthopaedic surgery (Lower limb surgery e.g. joint replacements, soft tissue knee, foot and ankle procedures and Hand Procedures)

- Thoracic surgery

- Upper GI surgery

- Urology

Insurance Requirements:

It is a requirement of this contract that Economic Operators hold or can commit to obtain prior to any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance indicated below:

4B.5.1a - Professional Risk Insurance, 5m GBP

4B.5.1b - Employer's Liability Insurance, 5m GBP

4B.5.2 - Public Liability Insurance, 2M GBP

Financial Status:

- Economic Operators are required to provide copies of their last 3 years accounts.

- Economic Operators must complete the Financial Status Matrix, which is provided within the additional documents section of the portal.

- Economic Operators with a score of 50 and above will be deemed to have evidenced financial stability to complete this contract.

- Economic Operators who do not meet a score of 50 will not be considered.

three.1.3) Technical and professional ability

With reference to SPD question 4C.1.2,Economic Operators must provide relevant examples using the template provided within the additional documents section of the portal.
