Blackpool Council on behalf of Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd (BECL) “The

Company” have successfully tendered to implement revised ticketing arrangements, initially for the

Blackpool Winter Gardens “The Venue”. The future extension of the solution to include

ticketing of other attractions and events both in Blackpool and further afield, is a key

objective.

The Company explored a white label ticketing solution to allow the Company to effectively

manage and run their own ticketing system.

It is anticipated that the contract will run from 18/5/22- 17/3/2025 - with the option to

extend for a further 1 plus 1 year.

The Company did not enter into the negation stage, the winning organisation was successful at Stage 2.

Description of options

The future solution must include delivery, installation, training and support. The software

system must have multi-venue and multi-event type capabilities, customer relationship

management and a flexible but comprehensive marketing functionality.

The Company wish to explore a white label ticketing solution and potentially enter into an

agreement with a supplier who can offer software to allow the Company to effectively

manage and run their own ticketing system.

The Company would consider an amalgamation of both of the above if available.
