The Council is committed to the use of Assistive Technology (AT) in all its forms to meet Customers’ assessed care and support and reablement needs in cost effective ways. The Council is committed to supporting innovative use of Assistive Technology with the expectation that the Provider will become our expert in the use and deployment of Assistive Technology.
We anticipate that approximately 1500 existing Telecare customers will transfer to the new contract with their existing equipment which will need to be supported. Based on previous data we anticipate the number of annual referrals to be in the region of 800 however we do not guarantee any volume of work.
