We are looking for suppliers who can support the vehicle remarketing function of the Trusts salary sacrifice lease car scheme, Fleet Solutions, who provide a salary sacrifice lease car scheme to the staff of over 350 NHS and public sector organisations nationwide. The remarketing function is responsible for reallocating the cars of members of staff who have left their employment during their lease contract, and therefore had to return their car, to other staff member of our client organisations.
Vehicles which are being remarketed are collected from the customers address, by a separate party, which could be nationwide (not including Northern Ireland) and are returned to our premises in Seaton Delaval, Northumberland. The vehicles are then prepared for the new customer and are delivered out to the new customer; which again could be nationwide. We are looking for suppliers to carry out any required repairs to the vehicles.
When cars are returned to our premises they are inspected for damage, once damage is discovered we will contact the supplier to arrange repairs. For SMART repairs we would look to make regular arrangements for a repairer to attend out site, for example twice weekly.
The Trust is inviting suppliers to a pre-market engagement discussion to help them identify operationally and value for money solutions to deliver this service. Suppliers should register an expression of interest and contact Jacqueline Netherton (Jacqueline.Netherton@northumbria-healthcare.nhs.uk) to arrange an informal discussion. These discussions will not prejudice any suppliers ability to bid for future tenders. The expression of interest will close 18th August at 12 noon.
