Hwyel Dda University Local Health Board with it’s partner organisation Ceredigion Council, have awarded a contract for the provision of Wellbeing & Promotional Support Services.

The Service will provide information, training and development to Service Users, Carers and local well-being and mental health Third Sector providers.

It will facilitate individual and Carer involvement in mental health change and services.

The Service will work with statutory providers such as the Health Board, Police and Local Authorities across the Hywel Dda footprint to promote partnership working with local Third Sector organisations.

Support for Third Sector Organisations

The Service will support local Third Sector organisations as follows:

Deliver non-judgemental, impartial high-quality advice, information, and guidance to Third Sector organisations

Support organisations to develop new and innovative ways of working that meet local need

Act as a conduit to identify, broker, and signpost organisations to other agencies as needed

Help organisations to set up and to develop new projects that meet the identified needs of the local community,

Provide development and consultancy services to enable organisations to develop new projects and service initiatives in line with Commissioning requirements. Including sourcing and support to develop funding applications.
