Scope
Description
The Authority currently has an agreement in place for the provision and maintenance of bus shelters and associated street furniture, including advertising units. This existing contract is due to expire in December 2025.
In preparation for this, the Authority is initiating a new procurement process to establish a long-term contract, potentially lasting ten years or more. Under the new arrangement, up to 350 bus shelters may be supplied, along with a limited number of free-standing advertising units. The scope of the contract will also include the ongoing maintenance of these assets to ensure they remain in good condition throughout the term.
It is anticipated that all hardware, including shelters and advertisement units, will remain the property of the successful contractor for the duration of the contract.
