two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Arriva UK Trains (AUKT) is seeking to establish a single framework agreement for the supply of HVO to Stourbridge Depot for the operation of one of Chiltern's sub-fleets exclusively on HVO in accordance with EN-15940 without admixture of bio.

The frameworks will not have any guaranteed spend or work, and will be used to call-off the supply of HVO in agreed amounts as and when required by Chiltern for the operation of the relevant fleet.

Arriva UK Trains is seeking suppliers that can offer:

- Supply of HVO to Stourbridge Depot for the operation of one of Chiltern's sub-fleets exclusively on HVO in accordance with EN-15940 without admixture of bio. Full specification and requirements provided upon request.

- HVO that contains no palm, animal fats or raw materials derived from wood and no blending with GTL or other paraffinic diesels.

- Provision of up to 3,000,000 litres per annum, via several weekly deliveries to single location at address provided.

- Full traceability of HVO and it's contributing inputs to confirm no unethical or environmentally unfriendly practices involved.

Arriva UK Trains is seeking suppliers that can offer:

- all necessary licenses, accreditations and competencies required to be able to supply HVO in accordance with EN-15940 without admixture of bio.

- appropriate insurances in accordance with business standards for delivery of

- Ability to supply the volumes expected by Chiltern on a regular basis to ensure the continued operation of their fleet

- Supporting paperwork detailing the traceability of HVO and it's inputs

Suppliers who can meet all the above requirements and who pass Arriva's supplier due diligence checks will be offered a framework under which it can then participate in mini competitions.
