two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The purpose of this project is to procure a single multi-disciplinary consultancy to complete a Critical Infrastructure Risk Review that consolidates the output from previous and ongoing assessments to inform prioritisation of available capital expenditure in the short to medium term.
The critical disciplines required to deliver this project are: project management, risk assessment, engineering, space utilisation, clinical service knowledge, mechanical, electrical and fire engineering. These skillsets are however not exhaustive to the delivery of the project but experience in clinical settings will be critical.
The NHS Contract terms and conditions for the provision of Services (Contract Version) will be used for this agreement (https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/nhs-terms-and-conditions-for-the-procurement-of-non-clinical-goods-and-services/#heading-2).
two.2.14) Additional information
Requests to participate are to be sent to tracy.githieya@ouh.nhs.uk via email. The Bid submission will be via a procurement platform - Atamis.
The procurement strategy proposed is an Open Procedure to ensure value for money whilst considering the complexity of the disciplines required, particularly an understanding of clinical settings. Although there are NHS recommended frameworks offering multi-disciplinary routes to market, the niche skillsets required for this project limits their pertinence.
The project is estimated to be contracted for a 6-8 months term and there is no current foreseeable requirement to renew this contract.
