Description

Heating Installation & Associated Works for South Tyneside Council. South Tyneside Council has approximately 16,000 domestic properties and are responsible for the repairs and planned maintenance programmes on the properties. South Tyneside Council Housing Services, Property Services and Asset Management "in house" labour team deliver the programme including heating installation and associated works.

Where South Tyneside Council cannot deliver the requirements of the programme, we are looking to engage the services of a contractor to deliver the shortfall in heating installations and associated works.

The works involve the replacement of full systems, boiler only installations with upgrades to existing systems, radiator installations (whole house and one off's) together with all associated builders works, testing and certification.

South Tyneside Council would like to ask for expressions of interest from suppliers who would potentially be interested in bidding for the upcoming tender for the Heating Installation & Associated Works framework.

Please note that participation in this consultation or registration of interest will not give any advantage in this procurement exercise, but is purely an opportunity to potentially shape the requirements and the planned approach to market. Your responses will help to inform the procurement although we cannot guarantee that all views expressed will be taken into account.

The tender documentation will also be published on the Open portal following the issue of the Tender Notice.
