L&Q are one of the largest providers of affordable housing in the UK, managing over 90,000 homes in London and the southeast of England. Although we work with over 100 local authorities, almost 80% of our homes are in London boroughs. We have the largest development programme of any social landlord operating in the London area. Regulated by the Homes & Communities Agency (registration number L4517), and is an exempt charity registered under the Co-operative & Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

L&Q wish to engage with the market regarding a potential procurement for Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation 1998 (LOLER) Inspection Services.

Each of L&Q's assets require inspection annually to ensure compliance. These assets are based predominantly in London, the Southeast and the Northwest of the UK. There are approximately 2,200 lifts in total, however this may change through the life of the contract(s),

Organisations that may be able to deliver these services on behalf of L&Q, either in full or in part, are invited to express their interest by emailing jaketurner@lqgroup.org.uk by 12:00 (midday) on Thursday 4th August 2022.

The level of response received will be used to inform L&Q's strategy for procuring these services; L&Q may contact responding organisations directly to discuss or clarify their interest.

This is a market engagement exercise only at this stage, there is no guarantee that a procurement process for this requirement will take place.
