The Western Health and Social Care Trust (the Contracting Authority) wishes to appoint 2 Economic Operators to enter into frameworks for the provision of Minor Building Works and Building Maintenance Works (including reactive and planned maintenance) for the Western Trust Estate. The project is for the provision of Minor Works to properties within Western Health and Social Care Trust for a period of 4 years. The Contracting Authority is seeking to appoint a maximum of 4 nr Contractors to a framework (with 1 nr Contractor appointed to each of Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3, Lot 4 with Lots 3 and Lots 4 appointed as reserve. Lot 5 is for Trustwide mini competitions, all successful economic operators will be eligible for these work packages) under which the Contracting Authority may enter into Call-off Contracts for the provision of Minor Building Works and Building Maintenance Works. For the purposes of the Framework Agreement works are defined as any Building Maintenance or Minor Works Scheme with a cost of between £100.00 and £400,000.00. Minor works schemes may comprise new buildings, extensions to existing buildings, conversion/refurbishment of existing buildings, and may incorporate Mechanical and Electrical Building Services, directly employed labour, Civil Engineering, Roofing, Flooring, Windows, Painting, Glazing Works, and other related specialist works.
