NHS South East London ICB (the Commissioner) is currently preparing for the procurement of an ENT Community Service for potential award in December 2023.

The aim of the ENT Community Service is to strengthen the ENT offering in SEL, by providing a link between primary and secondary care, building capacity and expertise within the community and diverting less complex activity away from secondary care. The proposed contract duration will be an initial duration of 3 years with further options to extend for 1 year +1 year, equating to a maximum contract duration of 5 years.

Contract value will likely begin at £3.5m per year and end at £3.8m per year. Total potential contract value will be £10,845,000 for 3 years and £18,405,000 for 5 years.

It is anticipated award of the contract will be in December 2023, with a service Go-Live date in March/April 2024 however these dates are subject to change.
