Bury Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified organisation to supply and deliver various bulk building materials to our depot at Bradley Fold which is located in the Radcliffe area of the borough. These materials are sourced by the Supply Chain Service which is part of the Council’s Department of Operations on behalf the Council its Arms Length Management Organisation, Six Town Housing to maintain its portfolio of properties both commercial and domestic.
Whilst the Council is seeking to obtain best value from this contract potential bidders should be aware that the evaluation of this contract is based on a split between price and quality and is not necessarily looking for the cheapest available option however it is seeking items that are fit for purpose for professional tradesmen in order that they can undertake the work to the required standard under their contractual obligations
The contract is for the period 1st December 2022 to 30th November 2025, with an option to extend the contract for a further 12 months.
