Short breaks are part of a continuum of services, which support disabled children and their families. Support takes place outside of the school day which means that the service can be required during the day, evening and weekend and can take place in the child's own home, the home of an approved carer or in a community setting.

Northumberland County Council would like to seek views from the market to help us to overcome some of the challenges that we are facing in relation to matching the assessed needs of our residents with the availability within the market.
