City of York Council wishes to award a contract for Housing Development Programme - Burnholme and Duncombe Barracks, ("the Contract"

This Contract has been split into two lots. Lot 1 is for Duncombe Barracks and Lot 2 is for Burnholme.

Burnholme is a scheme that will sit on 1.77 hectares and will compromise 71 houses and 14 apartments, all of which are to be timber framed. The site will accommodate 62 2-4 bed homes, 4 2-bed bungalows and 5 self-build plots. The apartments will be split between 10 1-bed and 4 3-beds.

Duncombe Barracks will occupy a site of 0.66 hectares and will have a total of 34 dwellings. These will be split between 23 2-4 bedroom homes and 11 1-bed apartments. There is also 1nr commercial unit to be constructed as part of this contract.

City of York are also including a potential for a further award for Ordnance Lane which will come under Lot 3. However, please refer to the tender documents for further information (ITT Part 1 - Instructions to Suppliers).

The value range for this project is £43,000,000 to £47,500,000.
