Suffolk County Council are currently out to tender for the provision of UASC Supported Living Accommodation. The service will deliver supported and supervised accommodation for UASC young people, the total predicted use for all four lots is between 60 – 80 young people at any one time. The existing accommodation services are being recommissioned along with a need for additional capacity. Available in the `Current Tenders` area of portal. Interested parties are invited to express their interest to gain full access to the tender documentation.Procurement Policy Note 09/21 requires us to calculate the value of contracts inclusive of VAT, however we can advertise them exclusive of VAT. The advertised value here is £16,940,000 exclusive of VAT.The deadline date for submissions of the tender is Thursday 1st September . Please note late returns will NOT be permitted. The deadline for clarification questions is Thursday 18th August 2022 which must be raised via Suffolk Sourcing.

This Light Touch Regime procurement is advertised as an open tender with negotiation. Further information outlining the tender process is detailed in the tender documentation. If the Contracting Authority identifies that the scope of this procurement falls within a business sector which may be attractive to infiltration by organised crime groups, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to include enhanced probity checks / requirements at the award stages of the procurement. Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures: Suffolk County Council incorporates a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period from the point at which information on the award of contract is communicated to the tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into.
