Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Trafford Council (the Partners) are seeking to let a works contract to deliver the Development of the GMP Chester Road site. The works procured are to be delivered as a joint venture (JV) between GMCA, Trafford and the successful supplier/contractor.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Trafford Council are seeking to let a works contract to deliver the Development of the GMP Chester Road site. The works procured are to be delivered as a joint venture between GMCA, Trafford and the successful supplier/contractor.
The aim of the Joint Venture is to:
• Utilise land held by GMP to develop a residential led mixed-use scheme at Chester Road, Trafford
• Increase the number of homes delivered in Greater Manchester
• Deliver policy compliant affordable housing levels
• Deliver a Carbon neutral scheme
• Provide a commercial level of financial return to the JV partners
• Provide creative placemaking solution
• Deliver Social Value
GMCA and Trafford Council are seeking a joint venture partner that has a drive and focus on delivering the aims outlined above, specifically in relation to the delivery of net zero development, good quality housing and delivering social value through the construction of the scheme.
