1. ‘Centre based’ innovation support services in line with funding specifications and regulations
2. A collective ‘cross-centre’ service that promotes and extends innovation activity and opportunities and supports the emergence of a Somerset Innovation network

The proposed contract term is 1st October 2022 – 31st March 2025, with the option to extend for a further 3 x 12 months, extensions subject to the regional strategic priorities and the confirmation of additional funding
1. development, management and delivery of innovation support services – bespoke to each innovation centre and in line with the service specifications and customer journeys – see appendix 1
2. development, management and delivery of a ‘cross-centre’ service that extends and enhances the collective level of centre-based innovation and supports the emergence of a nationally recognised Somerset ‘innovation network’
3. supporting the collective development and progress of the Somerset regional innovation ambition
The supplier will be directed initially by Somerset County Council, and from April 2023 by its successor single county authority, as the contracting body.
