The Council is seeking a Supplier to deliver the Carers Hub for an initial period of 4 years, with an optional further extension provision of up to 2 years.
The services required fall under Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015). As a result, this procurement is undertaken under the 'Light Touch Regime' as detailed in Section 7 of PCR 2015.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Council is conducting a two-stage procedure under the Light touch regime to appoint a suitable Supplier.
The Council will provide the full service specification as part of Stage Two of this tender.
The primary aim of the services being procured is to increase the awareness; identification; and support for all family and friend unpaid carers, through a combination of direct provision, and partnership working with key statutory services, to enable them to fulfil the requirements set out by government legislation and local strategic priorities.
The model must provide 4 key elements: Carer representation, carers awareness, single point of contact, and carers dedicated/targeted services. Further information on these minimum requirements can be found in Part 2 of the Schedule 1 document.
