Scope

Description

TfGM are looking to procure a Cloud Video Management System (CMVS) product from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), to appoint a service provider who is an accredited integrator of the OEM to provide an outsourced CCTV service and would like further information on what the current marketplace has to offer.

The main responsibilities of the service provider would be to:

• Design, build, install, manage, support and maintain the selected CVMS and interfaces to third party systems including the video wall management system.

• Supply all the necessary licences and hardware of CVMS with on-premises video recording capability.

• Integrations/ interface with camera edge video analytics, asset management, telephony system serving emergency call points, public address system, building management system and building access control system

• Support and maintain the CCTV camera including the replacement of any faulty cameras and uplift of services for refresh of end-of-life cameras.

• Maintenance and support of the data cabling in the CCTV infrastructure including replacement of faulty cables.

The CVMS platform is expected to have the capabilities to manage CCTV across all transport modes of TfGM (including Bus, Rail, Tram, Highways, Facilities, Cycling and Walking and Information Systems).

Engagement process description

TfGM are looking to engage with potential suppliers by participating in a Request for Information (RFI) exercise, to provide TfGM with an understanding of the current Cloud based video management services available for TfGM's CCTV estate.

This market engagement exercise will be conducted via the ProContract procurement portal. Suppliers can register for free using the following link: https://procontract.due-north.com/Register.

Market engagement responses are required by no later than 4pm on Friday 16th May 2025, via the ProContract portal.
