Forest Service anticipates establishing a multi-Lot Contract(s) with suppliers for the provision of these parts. Forest Service currently carries out servicing and repair of a range of plant and plant machinery at two Workshops (see section 6.2). In order for the fleet to effectively operate Forest Service must procure spare parts to service and repair the fleet items that they maintain. The aim of this Contract(s) is to enable Forest Service to establish call-off arrangements for the Supply and Delivery of Spare Parts for Plant and Equipment to various locations across Northern Ireland. It is intended that, via this arrangement, Forest Service will be able to source all Spare Parts necessary to enable the effective repair and maintenance of the fleet of machinery / plant vehicles. The overall objective is to deliver value for money and cash releasing savings for each organisation. The Contract(s) will be structured into 12 Lots based on Plant type.
