Wimbledon Depot Technical Resource

To be responsible for the maintenance, repair of SWR rolling stock, including the testing of HVAC and sanding systems, testing of components and equipment in accordance with South Western Railway specifications as required. The holder will adhere to local instructions, safety, quality and environmental procedures, rules and regulations in force.

Daily activities include (but are not limited to):

• Vehicle Maintenance including servicing, faultfinding, defect repair and seasonal campaign completion.

• Work order completion.

• Technical investigation.

• Attend unit Failures.

• Vehicle audits and inspections.

• On train investigation & analysis

• Incident response.

• Depot Protection duties.

All MB3 (or equivalent)

Require a Project manager / supervisor that controls the staff and liaises with SWR PM

Shift pattern to be 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights 12 hours shifts 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00 - 07:00
