2023 Cycling World Championships Limited is offering the opportunity for bidders to become the Official Supplier of Workforce Clothing to the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships (the Championships). The successful bidder will be required to supply and deliver certain workforce clothing to 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited, in consideration (in whole or in part) for a package of sponsorship rights and benefits and the rights and benefits and the right to retails a limited range of Championships-branded off-bike, casual clothing.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Bids for both Commercial Rights with Clothing supply only.

2023 Cycling World Limited invites bidders to offer to provide the required workforce clothing as "value in kind" (i.e. at no cost to Cycling World Championships Limited) in consideration for the commercial and sponsorship rights and benefits.

2023 Cycling World Championships Limited also invites bidders to consider making a cash offer for these rights and benefits in addition (or as an alternative to) their value in kind offer.

2023 Cycling World Championships Limited expects the value of bidders' value in kind offers to be at least 75% of the cost of the supply of the required workforce clothing.

The guide price for the commercial rights and benefits is 450,000.00 GBP for the official supplier status, this also includes the rights for the successful bidder the opportunity to sell a limited range of clothing.

The budget for for workforce clothing is 380,000.00 GBP based on a head count of 5,000. An allowance of 100,000 GBP is retained should there be a requirement to increase the workforce.

The minimum target for "Value in Kind (VIK)" contribution is 75% of the total value of the provision of the workforce clothing.

Tenderers should be aware that any Contract that is awarded pursuant to this procurement will be entered into by 2023 Cycling World Championships Limited for its own benefit and for the benefit of:

(i) Visit Scotland;

(ii) the Scottish Ministers, Glasgow City Council, UK Sport and any other public sector bodies that are involved in the planning, organisation and/or staging of the 2023 Cycling World Championships at any time or from time to time; and

(iii) British Cycling and the Union Cycliste Internationale.

Sub Contractors: Suppliers must notify 2023 World Cycling Championships Limited if they intend to sub contract any part of the work/requirements that is in included in the Statement of Requirements.

Right to extend: The Purchaser currently anticipates that Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 17 months, with a right for the Purchaser to extend that period at its discretion in the event of any postponement of the Championships.
