The Project is for the provision of the design, supply, delivery, receiving, off-loading, setting into position, fixing, erection, building testing, commissioning and finishing in every respect of the new St Killian’s College, Garron Tower, Carnlough. The new school buildings ,and works to Garron Tower associated external and site works are to be completed over a number of phases which will include the demolition of selected buildings. The new school complex will be a mixture of two and three storey blocks, including Garron Tower, with a gross internal floor area of 11182m2. The facilities will comprise: classroom teaching spaces for various subjects including but not limited to English, Maths, Languages, RE, Geography and History. Science, Technology, Art + Design, ICT, Music, Home Economics classrooms all with associated technician accommodation and storage rooms. Separate sports hall, gym hall and multipurpose hall with associated toilets, changing and shower accommodation for pupils and staff. The Scope will include full construction and selected demolition works, restoration works to Garron Tower, mechanical and electrical services, external and site development works.
