This contract is for the managed hosting, support, development, maintenance, and back-up of multiple instances of the Archivematica open source preservation service, NextCloud and AToM multi-lingual archival description software that underpin the Jisc Preservation service and which are provided for the use of Jisc and Jisc customers. The instances are currently hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in London on the incumbent service suppliers AWS instance. Future hosting is to continue on the same AWS region and/or an alternative region in the UK. The instances are provided on a Software as a Service basis. Additional instances will be added as and when requested by Jisc

Additional instances will be added as and when requested by Jisc

The contract is for services provided on a time and materials basis. Additional instances will not incur additional licence costs over and above the agreed time and AWS running costs.

Bidders can submit alternative funding models for evaluation.

The contract also includes the migration of existing instances/data to suppliers AWS instance should it be required.

The contract is for three years with an option to extend by an additional two years.
